Between June 4-6 we’ve been present again at Europe’s leading event for information and cyber security. Organized at Olympia, London, Infosecurity Europe 2019 featured the largest and most comprehensive conference programme, as well as over 400 exhibitors showcasing the most relevant information security solutions and products to more than 15,000 information security professionals.
The theme for 2019 was Cybersecurity 4.0: Complexity, risk and resilience and the event proved to be once more both an innovative and immersive one for professionals from the information security industry. Infosecurity Europe 2019 provided insights on how to manage information and cyber risk to build resilience within complex organizations. It also brought business, tech and cyber communities together to discuss and discover how to best protect companies and individuals. Besides an expo floor full of the latest technologies and solutions, it had a high-level conference program and well-respected industry speakers, as well as it was a host of networking opportunities.
Recognizing that technology is only one part of the cyber security puzzle, the “human factor” was a key focus at Infosecurity Europe 2019. A number of presentations held this year explored how to build skilled security teams and drive security-focused behavior across organizations.
A new highlight for 2019 was FutureSec – a special programme that looked at next-generation information security through the lens of people and innovation. Sessions covered topics including developing careers, building skill sets to meet the demands of the digital business, attracting and retaining talent and diversity.
For the Endpoint Protector team, the event meant three days full of live demos, fruitful meetings and specialized talks on data privacy, data security and data protection. We have joined Infosecurity Europe’s many exhibitors in the Olympia’s splendid Grand Hall which meant an excellent opportunity to present the latest developments of our products, engage with partners and customers and introduce our solutions to newcomers. Guests who visited our booth could discover how our award-winning Data Loss Prevention solution works and find out about its newest features, as we are always keen to continuously improve the user experience, as well as to make already existing functionalities more powerful and easier to use.
Over the years, giveaways became an integral part of our attendance at Infosecurity Europe. Our traditional LEGO Set giveaway was again highly popular. This year’s prize was the LEGO Technic James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Building Kit, and this time we have raffled three sets.
To wrap up, this year’s show proved to be another successful event in the infosec calendar. This year you can meet the Endpoint Protector team at a few more infosec events, including GITEX Technology Week in Dubai, it-sa – The IT Security Expo and Congress in Nuremberg and Jamf Nations User Conference in Minneapolis, US.
