CoSoSys, a leading data security and data loss prevention solutions provider is pleased to announce that it has achieved the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 1 certification. The certification audit was performed by Sensiba San Filippo, LLP (SSF), one of the largest Northern California-based accounting firms.
The SOC 2 Type 1 certification is a significant milestone for CoSoSys, as it showcases the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest levels of data security for its customers. The SOC 2 Type 1 report describes an organization’s systems and whether the controls it has in place to satisfy the SOC criteria are suitably designed. The audit report recognizes the company’s robust security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy controls.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 information security standard is an audit report on the examination of controls relevant to the trust services criteria categories. CoSoSys’ SOC 2 Type 1 report had Security, Availability, and Confidentiality in scope and did not have any noted exceptions. As a result, the report was issued with a “clean” audit opinion from SSF.
“Achieving SOC 2 Type I certification further highlights our commitment to maintaining the highest level of security, availability, and confidentiality for our customers. We understand the importance of compliance and the trust our customers place in us, and we will continue to invest in the necessary measures to maintain this level of excellence,” said Kevin Gallagher, CEO of CoSoSys.
At CoSoSys, we understand that data security is an ongoing process. That’s why we have invested in the necessary measures to maintain the highest level of security for our customers. Our commitment to maintaining the highest level of data security is at the core of everything we do.
