CoSoSys, a leading data security and data loss prevention solutions provider is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II audit. Representing a significant milestone for the company, and showcasing its commitment to maintaining the highest levels of data security for its customers, completing the SOC 2 Type II audit demonstrates that CoSoSys has the necessary controls in place to satisfy the SOC criteria, and to meet the requirements of its customers for robust security, availability, and confidentiality.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 information security audit provides a report on the examination of controls relevant to the trust services criteria categories covering security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. CoSoSys’ SOC 2 Type II report did not have any noted exceptions and was therefore issued with a “clean” audit opinion.
“Achieving SOC 2 Type II audit attests to the suitability of the design of our solutions and our operating effectiveness to the highest standards. Our customers place significant trust in us, and we continue to invest in the necessary measures to maintain this level of excellence and deliver solutions that our customers can use with confidence,” said Kevin Gallagher, CEO of CoSoSys.
CoSoSys’ SOC 2 Type 2 certification expands on the SOC 2 Type 1 certification achieved in March 2023 and addresses the operational effectiveness of the specified trust service criteria over a sustained period of time. The certification audit was performed by Sensiba LLP, a 2023 Top 100 Firm by Accounting Today.
