JNUC 2024: A Milestone Event Celebrating 15 Years

This year’s Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) was a special one, celebrating 15 years of empowering Apple administrators and security professionals. Held in Nashville, the home of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the conference embraced the city’s rich heritage with a vibrant country music theme. Attendees were treated to live performances from renowned local artists, fully immersing them in the Nashville vibe.

With 2,500 in-person attendees and thousands more online, JNUC 2024 marked the largest gathering in its history. It further cemented its reputation as the premier event for Apple administrators and security experts worldwide.

A celebration of community and innovation

Jamf CEO Dean Strosahl kicked off the conference with an enthusiastic message:
“This is my favorite time of the year, a time when the greatest community in tech comes together to connect, create, and cultivate our Apple management and security skills.”

The excitement in the room was palpable as Strosahl underscored Apple’s increasing presence in the enterprise. He highlighted a remarkable statistic—Apple endpoints grew by 20% this past year, in contrast to a modest 3% increase for PC devices. This trend emphasizes the expanding role of Apple in the business world and the importance of solutions like Jamf to manage and secure these devices.

Cososys: Proud partners with Jamf in Apple Endpoint Security

For several years, Cososys has been a proud sponsor of JNUC, aligning its cutting-edge innovation with Jamf’s vision. With Apple’s recent OS release, Cososys remains at the forefront of Endpoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP) by providing comprehensive, zero-day support across all Apple OS versions. This ensures that organizations relying on Apple devices have continuous protection against data breaches, thanks to Cososys’ multi-OS support for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Tackling the complexities of remote work

As the shift to remote work continues to reshape IT landscapes, managing remote teams has become increasingly complex for IT administrators. Solutions like Jamf and Endpoint Protector are designed to streamline the security and administration of distributed workforces. Even as companies like Amazon advocate for a return to the office, remote work remains a long-term fixture for many organizations. The synergy between Jamf and Cososys helps ease the challenges of securing a hybrid workforce and managing Apple endpoints in this new normal.

Expert insights from industry leaders

One of the standout moments of JNUC 2024 was the keynote from Jerome Conin of SAP, a leader in large-scale Mac deployment. His insights, along with contributions from notable figures at Google and Salesforce, provided attendees with invaluable lessons on managing and securing Apple devices at scale. Hearing from these industry leaders showcased how top organizations are leveraging Jamf and Cososys solutions to bolster their security frameworks in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

Looking ahead: JNUC 2025 in Denver!

The event closed with an exciting announcement—JNUC 2025 will be held in Denver, nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. With Denver’s own unique charm, perhaps next year’s event will have a “panning-for-gold” theme! As JNUC continues to grow and evolve, it remains the must-attend event for Apple professionals worldwide.
